5 Healthy Non-Toxic Deodorants

Most days I choose to be deodorant free. This began back in college when I had benign breast lumps and knew wearing deodorant made of chemicals so close to my breasts was not a healthy choice. Not knowing much more than that intuitive/intellectual wisdom, I decided to stop wearing conventional deodorant and started exploring alternative deodorant options then eventually went ‘au naturale’. Surprisingly, my body quickly found its own homeostasis and rarely did I ever actually need deodorant despite being a sweaty athlete. For all these years not wearing deodorant was my normal. Then following delivery to my child when my hormones were changing, I became curious to what alternative deodorant options currently exist. In my investigation I have found a few alternative options that reduce exposure to the chemicals and toxins that are found in conventional deodorants. I’m happy to share my research and recommendations with you here.
